Juancristobal Aliaga (Chile/Latin America)

Juancristobal Aliaga is a jazz composer and guitarist from Santiago, Chile. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, where he received both his Bachelor and Master degrees in guitar performance. Juan has become one of the most sought-out musicians in Chile and Latin America, allowing him the esteemed opportunity to perform with some of Chile’s most recognized musicians such as, Andres Perez (Ana Tijoux), Raúl Aliaga (Congreso, Fulano), Marcelo Cordova and Andy Baeza, just to name a few. Aliaga, is the son of one of Chile’s most accomplished band, Congresso, a band that was pivotal in the fight for democracy against Pinochet dictatorship in Chile. Juan is excited to serve as the first Gerami Groover Presents: Artist Ambassador for Latin America, in hopes to preserve and share the stories of the African influence in Chile through innovative technology.
